Warmley Park School and College offers provision for pupils aged 2–19 with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). All pupils who attend have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and every place is allocated through South Gloucestershire Council’s admissions process.

Pupils with significant intellectual impairment affecting all areas of learning, who require a highly structured and specialist curriculum to make progress.

Pupils with the most complex combination of needs — including significant cognitive impairment alongside physical, sensory, or health difficulties — who require a fully holistic approach to provision.

How admissions work
Your child has an EHCP
All pupils at Warmley Park must hold a current Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) issued by South Gloucestershire Council. If your child does not yet have an EHCP, the first step is to request an Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment through the 0–25 team.
Referral via the case advisory panel
Admission to Warmley Park is via South Gloucestershire's case advisory panel. The panel reviews EHCPs and can refer pupils at any point during the school year — admissions are not restricted to September.

Any questions about the admissions process should be directed to the 0–25 team at Children, Adults and Health, South Gloucestershire Council. They coordinate all referrals and can advise on timelines and next steps.
