All learners access an adapted KS2 National Curriculum that combines hands-on, exploratory and play-based learning with structured whole-class and small-group teaching. Provision is tailored to individual needs through appropriate scaffolding, enrichment and enhancement opportunities, and targeted one-to-one interventions. This personalised approach enables learners to make progress towards their EHCP outcomes and individual learning targets while developing independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
Learners are encouraged to develop curiosity in the world around them by learning about the human body, space and the post office. Learners can expect to read and explore stories such as The Jolly Postman and Dragon’s Post.
