Illness
If your child is unwell, please keep them at home to rest and recover.
Report absences to
If leaving a message, please clearly state your child's name, class, and reason for absence.
If your child becomes unwell during the school day
A member of the healthcare team will assess them.
We will contact you if your child needs to go home or seek further medical advice.
Please ensure the school always has at least two emergency contact numbers so we can reach you quickly if needed. At Warmley Park School, we follow guidance provided by the NHS website for illness and health conditions.

We will always inform parents and carers if their child has an accident during the school day.

In the event of a serious emergency requiring Accident & Emergency treatment, a member of staff will stay with your child until parents/carers arrive, if needed.
Emergency contacts
Please make sure the school always has up-to-date contact information for parents/carers and emergency contacts if parents/carers cannot be reached. Keeping your contact information current helps us support your child quickly and safely when needed.
