Prevent is one part of the UK government’s over-arching counter-terrorism strategy, CONTEST. Its main objective is to stop people from becoming terrorists or supporting terrorist causes by addressing vulnerabilities early.
As an educational community, Warmley Park protects students by providing a safe environment to learn, debate, and grow. We aim to equip young minds with robust critical thinking skills to recognize and reject extremist influence in any form.
We seamlessly integrate values of democracy, mutual respect, liberty, and the rule of law into our day-to-day curriculum. Staff receive regular, accredited training to spot vulnerabilities, understand the pathways to radicalisation, and follow standard safeguarding routes.
