Free school meals
Your child may be eligible for free school meals. For every child who qualifies, the school also receives additional funding (Pupil Premium) to further support their education.

Eligibility
Automatic entitlement
All children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal. The school will be informed automatically if your child qualifies under this scheme — you do not need to apply separately.
How to apply
Apply online
You can apply quickly and easily online through the Government website. South Gloucestershire Council will check your eligibility and let you and the school know the outcome.

If you qualify, you will receive a confirmation letter.
The school will be informed automatically and your child's meals will be arranged.
Please note
Free school meals cannot be granted until a completed application has been received and approved.
Entitlement cannot be backdated — please apply as soon as possible if you think you may be eligible.
Dietary requirements
Special diets are an integral part of our catering provision — whether as a result of an ethical or religious belief, a food intolerance, or an allergy. To register a special diet requirement, please complete and return the special diets form to the school as soon as possible.
