Healthy snacks
At Warmley Park School and College, we encourage healthy eating to support our pupils' wellbeing, concentration, and energy levels throughout the school day. In line with NHS guidance, we ask that snacks brought into school are nutritious and balanced.
Fresh fruit & vegetables
Apple slices, bananas, carrot sticks
Yogurt & dairy
Yogurt, fromage frais, cheese portions
Cheese
Cheese portions or slices
Plain crackers
Crackers, breadsticks, rice cakes
We ask families to avoid snacks that are high in sugar, salt, or fat — such as sweets, chocolate, crisps, and sugary drinks.
As a SEN school, we understand that some children may have specific dietary needs, sensory preferences, or medical requirements. We will always work closely with families to ensure every child's needs are met in a supportive and flexible way. If you are unsure about suitable snacks or would like advice, please speak to Aimee Nicholson, our Family Support Worker — we are happy to help.
