Parents & carers · Warmley Park School & College
Warmley Park is a completely nut-free school. We ask all families to help us keep every member of our community safe by not sending any nut-containing products into school.
Important — please read
We kindly ask all parents and carers not to send any food into school that contains nuts. This includes packed lunches, snacks, birthday treats, and any other food brought onto the school site.
Why this matters
We have pupils and staff in our school community who have severe nut allergies. For some people, even tiny traces of nut — from contact with packaging, surfaces, or the air — can trigger a serious allergic reaction. By keeping our whole school nut-free, we protect everyone in our community and ensure every child can feel safe at school.
What to avoid
Peanuts & nuts
All varieties — whole, chopped, ground
Nut-containing spreads & chocolate
Peanut butter, Nutella and similar spreads
Cereal bars & granola
Flapjacks, muesli, energy bars with nuts
"May contain nuts" products
Any product with this label on the packaging
Please check product labels carefully. Products labelled "may contain nuts" or "made in a factory that handles nuts" should also be left at home — these labels indicate a genuine risk of trace contamination.
Supporting individual needs
As a SEN school, we recognise that children may have specific dietary preferences, needs, or sensory requirements. We will always work closely with families to find safe and suitable alternatives where needed. If you are unsure whether a particular food is safe to send in, please contact the school office before sending it — we are happy to advise.
We appreciate every family's support in helping us keep our whole community safe. By working together, we can ensure that every child — including those with severe allergies — feels fully included and protected at Warmley Park.
