Who we are and who we support

Warmley Park School and College is a maintained special school in South Gloucestershire, serving pupils and students aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of complex and profound learning needs. Our pupils include those with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and those on the Autistic Spectrum, as well as children and young people with sensory impairments and physical disabilities.

The school is built on a single level, making it fully accessible for all learners. Our classroom environments are designed to meet individual needs — using an interactive and sensory approach for SLD and PMLD learners, and a high structure, low arousal environment for autistic learners where predictability and calm are central to learning.

Performance data for special schools such as Warmley Park is presented differently to mainstream schools. Standard attainment measures do not apply to the vast majority of our pupils, whose learning is measured through personalised outcomes in their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The national school performance tables provide context data rather than traditional attainment comparisons.

Parents and carers can share their views about our school through the Ofsted Parent View survey. Your feedback helps Ofsted understand how our school is performing and contributes to future inspections. Share your views on Ofsted Parent View.
